Cashel Palace Hotel is situated at Main Street, Cashel, County Tipperary, E25 EF61, Ireland, in the heart of Cashel town, just a 4‑minute walk from the iconic Rock of Cashel

  • By Air: Shannon Airport (SNN) ≈ 86 km (~1 h 10 min), Cork Airport (ORK) ≈ 100 km (~1 h 15 min), Dublin Airport (DUB) ≈ 170 km (~1 h 45 min)
  • By Rail: No station in Cashel. Nearest is Thurles (~20 km, ~12 min by train from Dublin), or take Bus Éireann from Thurles station into town

  • By Road: Located just off the M8 motorway (exit 9); about 1 h 45 min from Dublin or Cork via the M7/M8 route

  • Check‑in begins at 4:00 PM.

  • Check‑out is at 12:00 PM (noon) 
    If you expect to arrive after midnight, please notify reception in advance via phone or email

  • Early check‑in can only be guaranteed by booking the room for the night before your arrival. If arriving earlier, you may store luggage at reception until your room is ready

  • Late check‑out is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee. Please arrange with reception prior to or during your stay.

Yes, both complimentary valet parking and self‑parking are available for hotel guests

  • Rooms along the avenue have dedicated parking spaces.

  • Guests in the Main House and Garden Wing are accommodated in the private hotel car-park beside the building.

  • Non-staying visitors may use the public Buckley Car Park next door or on-street parking in Cashel town, subject to local hourly rates.

No, the hotel does not offer a dedicated airport shuttle service. The Concierge team would be delighted to assist you in booking transport. 

Yes, the hotel provides limited on‑site EV charging for guests at a flat fee of €15 per charge. Please ask the porter or reception for assistance on arrival. Additional public charging stations are conveniently located nearby in Cashel town

Rooms & Policies 

Yes. Cashel Palace Hotel welcomes dogs however, only in Ground Floor Garden Wing rooms and in the Gate Lodge. Pets are permitted in your room and the hotel gardens only; they are not allowed in indoor public areas or restaurants unless seated outside.

  • A maximum of two dogs per booking is permitted.

  • There is a €50 per dog fee for small to medium-sized pets.

Yes. Guests may store luggage at reception both before check‑in and after check‑out. The porter or front desk will gladly assist you in storing your bags securely while you explore or wait for transportation
