Meet the Makers – Hederman Smokehouse

Continue to the renowned Frank Hederman Smokehouse, beautifully located on Great Island.

During this “Meet the Makers” experience, guests gain insight into the traditional art of smoking salmon — a craft perfected over generations. Learn about the careful balance of oak smoke, time, and expertise that creates one of Ireland’s finest artisan products.

Behind the Scenes – Midleton Distillery

In the afternoon, travel onward to the iconic Midleton Distillery, home to some of Ireland’s most celebrated whiskeys.

Your exclusive “Behind the Scenes” tour offers a deeper look into the full whiskey-making process — from grain selection to maturation. For guests who wish to travel exclusively, with no other guests joining the tour, a private tour supplement of €200 per person applies.

A 50% deposit is required to secure the tour itinerary and guide. Full payment is due in advance of the guest’s stay at Cashel Palace Hotel.
