The Palladian house's original red brick wine cellar may be booked for private wine tastings and our sommelier will delight in introducing you to the wealth of treasures on our wine list. Our Residents Cocktail Bar and Guinness Bar serve an extensive range of wine, beers and spirits too, with a bespoke Cashel Palace Gin distilled just 30 minutes away, at Tipperary Boutique Distillery.

The Guinness Bar

Archbishop Arthur Price, who resided at Cashel Palace from 1744-1752, was godfather to one Arthur Guinness, who would go on to create the famous Irish stout. The original Guinness brewery was founded with a £100 bequest from Archbishop Price, so it seems fitting that Cashel Palace’s elegant Guinness Bar celebrates this important piece of brewing history.
Pull up a chair by the fireside, order a pint at the bar or sink into a seat for a cosy evening with friends and your favourite tipple. All around, you shall find the names of the many famous guests who have visited Cashel Palace throughout its illustrious history.

The Residents Cocktail Bar

Cashel Palace’s intimate cocktail bar is a stylish place to perch before dinner or linger at the end of a leisurely day. Overlooking the Garden Terrace and 300-year-old mulberry trees, order your favourite cocktail or chat to our mixologist about a signature drink. Offering a selection of exclusive whiskeys, champagnes and fine wines, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Donoghue's Irish Pub

Donoghue's Traditional Irish Bar at Cashel Palace Hotel is a cosy and inviting space that provides guests with an authentic Irish pub experience. Featuring classic décor with dark wood furnishings, warm snug sections and a lively atmosphere, this bar is the perfect spot to enjoy a pint of Guinness or a glass of Irish whiskey.

MONDAYS | Guests can enjoy a lively traditional Irish music session every Monday night at Donoghue's. As the evening wears on, the sounds of fiddles, bodhráns, and tin whistles fill the air, creating a festive and authentic atmosphere. The music session is led by local musicians who bring their own unique style and flair to the traditional tunes. Guests are invited to sing along, tap their feet, or even join in with an instrument if they feel so inclined. The bar is bustling with activity as people chat, laugh, and enjoy the music together.

THURSDAYS | Guests can enjoy local talent and a mix of entertainment genres on Thursdays at Donoghue's.
